The remnants of our civilisation. The wonder of technology and human imagination. The beautiful object. The oddity in the world of nature.
A wind turbine photographed on infra red digital camera, Neilston Quarry in Scotland.
The image has been printed on 3mm dibond and is framed in black lightweight beech wood. There is no glass in the frame which creates a floating effect, and the metallic print is highly reflective, adding a subtle sparkle to its environment.
Measurements are 11.8 x 17 inches framed; 14.8 x 9.6 inches print.
The natural materials used to make this work have been carefully selected to comment on the availability and use of the natural resources, that is a subject of my Remanoir book project.
